Dr. Ramie Stiles graduated from Logan University in 2006 with a Doctorate in Chiropractic. She also received her Bachelors of Science from Rutgers University in 2001. She is an adjunct professor at both Stockton University and Camden County College where she teaches Anatomy & Physiology. Her goal as a doctor is to serve and educate her patients about the non-invasive ways to optimize their well-being.
Dr. Stiles believes that the body has the ability to heal under the right circumstances. Her job as the chiropractor is to figure out what those circumstances are. She accomplishes this by treating the whole body as a complex integrated system, not a collection of parts. It is important to cater each treatment plan to the individual patient by prescribing the right combination of treatment methods for that individual's specific needs. Treatment methods include chiropractic adjustments, nutritional therapy and physiotherapeutic exercises.
Dr. Stiles specializes in non-force technique called S.O.T. (Sacrooccipital Technique). S.O.T. practitioners utilize full spine adjusting techniques as well as pelvic wedges to balance and facilitate the flow of cerebrospinal fluid throughout the central nervous system. This allows the body to efficiently adapt to both environmental and gravitational stress. In addition, S.O. T. doctors address soft tissue, extremities, viscera, and the cranium in their analysis and correction of the various subluxation patterns.
Utilizing this techniques, Dr. Stiles has successfully treated all age groups from infants to the elderly. Her specialties include cranio-sacral work, headaches, TMJ disorders, pediatric and treatment for pregnant women.
